What's so good about thick yoga mats? I was wondering why some mats are thicker than others. My sister lent me her mat to use for a week. It was also a thick one.
I checked out some online stores, read a few reviews. I was surprised to see so many sites on this topic. There was even a fanclub. There were lots of review sites. Seems like there's a review site for every product now. I got most of my stuff from this site
My Thick Yoga Mat
I picked up a neat little mat. It was pretty thick and had a nice ruffled surface.
Well, it didn't make a huge difference, but I did feel a little more confident.
. I felt as if my feet were sinking.I felt a lot more balanced. I was constantly getting stuck to the mat while moving around. It was definitely something to get used to, but I managed. My knees felt much better after class. My back bones were not as hurt. I've become addicted to this yoga mat, it was a pleasant experience.
